What is the World Day of Social Justice?
The World Day of Social Justice is an annual day started by the UN. It aims to help us recognise that, despite all the progress we have made as human beings, there are still many barriers that prevent millions of people from living a fair life.
It is an annual event, organised by the United Nations (UN), in order to promote fairness. Fairness, in this context, means equal access for all to the same standards of education, employment, healthcare, education and more. Everyone should have equal access to the same standards of these things, regardless of their race, religion, sexuality, gender or class.
