Pharmacies- Pharmacists are clinically trained and are the first place you can go for advice and over the counter treatment for minor ailments.
What the pharmacy can help with
GP+ – is our enhanced access service. We may offer you an appointment here as the service offers appointments when we cannot, making more appointments available for patients. They have GP’s, Practice and Staff nurses, Phlebotomists, HCA, Community Practitioners and Pharmacists.
Urgent Care Centre – Access to assessment and treatment if you need help with a health problem that is urgent, but not life-threatening. Open 7am-9pm 365 days a year. No appointment needed. Located on London Road (next to the BBC building).
NHS 111 and NHS 111 Online – You answer questions about your symptoms on the website, or speak to a fully trained adviser on the phone. You can ask for a translator if you need one.
