Repeat Prescriptions

pillsThere are several ways to order your repeat prescription, please note that you can only request medicines that your doctor as advised you to take on a regular basis. Iif you are unsure you can check by looking at the tick box on the right hand side of your prescription, please note that there are certain medications that you will need an appointment for e.g. the contraceptive pill and medications that need a regular review.  These are the methods you may use to order your repeat medications:

  • In person at the Surgery
  • By post including a stamped addressed envelope
  • Following the link at the top of this page to the online form
  • Chemists in your area may operate a prescription pick-up and delivery services, you can look on the NHS Choices web site for information

Your prescription will be available for collection within 48 hours (not including weekends/bank holidays).  We are not able to take repeat precriptions over the telephone  

Pharmacy First Scheme

If you are exempt from prescription charges you may be able to get the same medicines the doctor would have prescribed free of charge, treaments for painrelief, cystitis, hayfever, conjunctivtis and many more please ask our receptionist or participating chemist for more details.
